Hawthorne heights is a band formed in 2001 in Dayton, in the state of Ohio (they even wrote a song about it XD). Initially they gained a following on MySpace. Their 2004 debut album The Silence In Black And White went gold and their signature song Ohio Is For Lovers became the anthem for emo movement. I started listening to them because an internet friend of mine posted one of their songs on their social media and I liked it so I listen to more of them and I liked those too!!
